2010 North Georgia Falcon Middle School Team
Falcons went undefeated this season and placed 2nd in the GFC League Conference. The Falcons will travel to Panama City Beach, Florida to play in the NHFA Championship Game on November 17, 2010.

North Georgia Falcons Middle School Kickoff Season with a Win
The North Georgia Falcons middle school team kicked their season off Friday night with the Carolina Cavaliers. The nerves were visible as the team took the field for the opening kickoff but Zach Beckman led the season off with a great kick and the defense started the game. The defense led by Grant Walters proved to be a tough match for the Cavaliers. Luke Jarrett helped the defense with his two quarterback sacks for a total of minus 21 yards. The defense did stumble and the Cavaliers did score on a 28 yard pass play. Jesse Rodgers had an interception that helped to keep the game in hand and gave the offense great field position.
The Falcon offense led by their quarterback Zack Waddell and quiet wide receiver Patrick Thigpen were able to dominate the field. With great blocking from the front line (Gibson Gunter, Bailey Hanner, Tad Dillard, Grant Walters, Noah Keeling, and Zephaniah Griffin), the Falcons were able to move the ball for a total of 235 yards. Austin Rothenberger scored four touchdowns and lead the team with 189 of the total yards. Jared Stephens helped add points to the board with his 2 point conversion. First year players, Noah Bieber and Ben Tankersley, added to the total offense with their carries late in the fourth quarter. But the last play of the game, Noah Keeling was able to put together an unbelievable run (which took four Cavaliers for a piggy back ride) for 20 yards. The final score Falcons 30 and the Carolina Cavaliers 6. North Georgia will travel to play in South Carolina on September 10.
